La Salle R&D

At La Salle R&D we actively participate in some of the more exciting international scientific projects like the LHCb collaboration at CERN, as well as in some technological adventures such as managing data transmission from the Antarctica, or designing systems to help in cancer diagnosis.  Recent efforts have been placed on the vast and multisciplinary fields of Health and Smart Cities, which benefit from extensive research performed in the institution on acoustics, computational mechanics, data mining, electronics, human-computer interaction, image processing, robotics and speech technology, among many others. La Salle R&D focuses on applied research that could benefit society in the short-midterm, which in turn implies being at the cutting-edge of some fundamental research. Our strength: multidisciplinary and collaborative teams of skilled, creative and strongly motivated researchers.
