Serious Games

This research line focuses primarily on the prevention and acquirement of healthy habits without explicit medical supervision through games with a purpose beyond mere entertainment. This goal is achieved through the development of serious games on different platforms (PC, tablets, mobile phones, etc.) or by means of robots, which guide the users and recommend them certain habits, such as healthy eating, the identification of the energetic content of their diet, increasing sport practice, preventing children from starting smoking, etc. These applications can be extended to any kind of disease that may require special attention.
